Last of the Sunni Skyrim conversions! This is the Blacksmith's Sharpening Wheel, available in 20 Pooklet Project Mayhem naturals over a blend of the original textures (they had nice shading) over Piggi Wood 03 (as the original textures needed more smooth grain).

So technically the sharpening wheel is sort of animated? Sims sit just like Plant is sitting in the title card, they breathe heavily, and they shift a little. Body skill goes up, Tinkering enthusiasm goes up-- a rare bird in the land!-- Sims get more muscular, and body temperature goes up... but they just sit there while all that happens. The wheel doesn't spin and the Sims don't lean forward or anything.
On the one hand, a little disconcerting if you're watching them, on the other... it's a lot quieter than most exercise equipment?

Is this a historically accurate piece?
I legitimately have no idea. I don't have anything in my notes about sharpening wheels, but I do know that lathes were a thing, so the technology to spin a thing using a foot pedal was there, and that the wheel itself looks a bit like what my dad used to sharpen professional hairdressers' scissors. Sure, it's a lot of wood, but that's a really big hunk of rock in the middle, you'd need a lot of wood to hold up that much rock.
I'm pretty sure most fine sharpening would be done with a handheld whetstone, but... this gives Tinkering enthusiasm and that's really hard to find, so I'm just gonna go with it. It feels plausible.

Also your mileage may vary on how you think it looks with skirts.

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
