Nixed Sims's exercise mat comes in 82 Pooklet Project Mayhem natural, Aelia Autumn, and CuriousB Any Color You Like actions over a TS3 twill fabric. This is assuredly a low-poly item, clocking in at a whopping 16 polys over two tiles. Children, teens, young adults, adults, and elders can all use this simple little thing to gain fitness, Body skill, and Fitness enthusiasm.



This isn't exactly a period item-- different kinds of exercises were developed at different places in history, and of course for the Middle Ages, you got strong by doing the thing you needed to get strong for-- working, riding, training to fight-- not by doing sit-ups or leg lifts.

IF YOU DOWNLOADED BEFORE JANUARY 29, 2023, PLEASE RE-DOWNLOAD. I recolored these back in 2019 and missed Nix's April 2022 update fixing an error regarding pregnant Sims exercising in games without pregnant-sims-wear-anything mods. Or you could grab NixNivis's originals!



Still, there's no technology beyond spinning and weaving involved in Nix's mat, so. It's historically conceivable, plus it's cheap enough for your peasant lad who wants the lasses to swoon at his well-turned calves to use back behind the wheatfield, and low-profile enough for your rising merchant's daughter (whose upper middle class diet is going to go straight to her hips if her only activity is sewing) to keep in the privacy of her own bedchamber.



A closer look at that twill, and an important note: While technically this item is basegame compatible, if you have Kitchen & Bath Stuff? You also need Free Time. I don't know why, but that's what NixNivis says. Maybe it's some kind of mild curse. Or a game engine thing.

Would you look at that! :D I love 'em, the twill detail is beautiful. If you don't mind, I'm going to link to these from my download post, in case people want more recols for it.

Re needing FT if you have K&B, it has to do with the Enthusiasm gain; long technical story short and not technical, it won't work properly if you have K&B but don't also have FT (and yes, I've tried to fix this, but in the end, it was a heck of a lot simpler and less brain-breaking on my part to simply require FT for people with K&B). So sorta game-engine thing. :)

... I wonder if more things work that way. Unfortunate for people who get the stuff packs out of order, mostly.
