Oak leaves as plantsim hair. I've got several other kinds of leaves to do, and will be offering them as custom, multibinned (one file, five haircolors, won't show in BodyShop), or default replacement. It's a fiddly little project, but it's fun.

And stolen from Pinketamine, because it caught my eye last night, a Sims meme.

How long does your game take to load?

At the last test, seventeen minutes from clicking the shortcut to the neighborhood chooser.

When making a Sim, what do you prefer adult male/adult female, teen male, teen female?

Usually I have a purpose in mind, but I seem to make more adult males-- usually for clothing modelling purposes.

How long does your body shop take to open?

Usually about three or five minutes, unless I manage to make it Not Responding. Which I usually do. (I take out all my non-body-shop content before I start it, though.)

Do you make more Sims in CAS or in body shop?

Ohhh Body Shop, Body Shop, Body Shop. Some in CAS, but mostly Random Models.

Whats your favorite hair color to put on your Sims?

I love redheads, but I don't seem to have a real preference when it comes to Sims.

How many babies have your Sims ever had from one set of parents?

... Uh... I've made multi-PT and multi-Ideal sets, and testing those required about a bazillion kids... So basically, I forget. Many lots. For a while I had it timed so my PT-tester household, a house with six adults, was spawning a kid every day.

How often do you experience a glitch?

Testerhood. Depends on what you consider a glitch, I guess. A crash? Every time my six adults in the PT-teserhouse try to age up into elders.

Do you make your Sims, straight/gay/bi/lesbian, very often?

I have ACR, they are what they want to be. Usually I let them check out a male Sim and a female Sim so they've got a fair shot, but I need to start hitting the Randomize button on ACR, I think.

Does your neighborhood have a theme?

Medieval! Although someday I'll pick up my Alien Invasion neighborhood again.

How many downloads do you have in your game?

As of April 25, 2010, I have 6.20 Gigs, 26,103 files in 2,663 folders. I am always tempted to answer 'How many do you have?' with 'ALL OF THEM,' but I know better.

Who is your favorite CC body shop creator (meaning: skins, eyes, hair, make-up ect)?

I have a hundred and... forty-something, I forget... skintones. No particular favorites-- I have skins by Aquilegia, Pooklet, Rensim, Bloom, Ephemera, Mouseyblue, Pyxis..

Eyes, I use Rensim for my alien-fairies, but other than that? Panaquolus's Maritime eyes, with some rounding-out by me. Because as far as I'm concerned, they're the perfect eyes.

Hair comes from EVERYWHERE. I love Pooklet's colors, also Nouk's colors, I am game for other colors. I aim for meshes that can pass for Medieval, so women have long hair and only rarely will I use a mesh with bangs. No neons. Nothing that looks like it's full of product. I have two gigs of hair anyway. Two COMPRESSORIZED gigs of hair. I need to weed things down a little.

I cannot keep track of all the places I get makeup.

Clothes, on the other hand... ZoeJ for the pretty. Sherahbim for the drop-dead gorgeous. Aligeth for the frequently needful. Iamliz for the accuracy, at least once she really got going. And Oph3lia and Aquilegia and Fantasy Rogue, who have all made stuff I've mentioned was needed.

Who is your favorite CC creator for build and buy?

Oh dude. I have no idea. Parsimonious, Piggi, the MATY crew for their Castaway extractions, Blacky's Zoo (I know, lots of creators), I have a mess of Buggybooz stuff, some stuff from DH or Moonsims or whatever, some CycloneSue stuff from the Booty, a smattering of Holy Simoly and Cupcake Conspiracy, some Lethe, some Ninth Wave, some The Jim07...Man, I love STUFF.

How often do you play the Sims?

Lately I test more than play, but testing can lead to play. It varies-- sometimes all day, sometimes a week can go by and all I'll open is SimPE.

Do you watch Sims machinama? (Sims movies)

Not really. I'd rather watch my own Sims. I have watched The Strangerhood, which was not up to RvB standards, and I've poked around on YouTube usually out of sheer boredom or trying to see an animation happen, but... *shrug* Not my thing.

Do you read stories/comics made with the Sims?

Er, so far, just Strangetown, Here We Come and The Chronicles of Albion. Nothing else has held my interest enough to get me going back to it.

What expansion packs do you have?

All of them. Stuff packs too.

What are you views on building and decorating?

... Er, like what, for or against? Dude, it's an electronic dollhouse; play with it.

What is some body shop CC that you tend to over use?

I try to vary what I use, really, but I usually like how Nouk's Tyler hair looks on... um, everyone.

How often do you need to use “Familyfunds”?

Never mucked with that one, just Motherlode. Testerhood. It's not cheating if they're just guinea pigs.

Do you like doll Sims?

Dude, really. I'm a doll collector; I have a dollhouse, I have dolls in every size from two inches to three feet. I play with my dolls, I redress them, I give them names and backstories and I pose them together and sometimes I even take pictures.

ALL Sims are doll Sims.

(Aside from that, I don't actually know what 'doll Sims' are. BJD skins? I actually owned a BJD for a while...)

Have you ever killed your Sim(s) for the fun of it?

For the fun of it? No. I have other video games I can play if I just want to hear something scream and die. For scientific testing purposes, yes. Zombie Creature Feature HAD to die to fulfill his purpose. I'm sorry about all your nice points, Zombie.

How old are you? And When did you start playing?

I am old enough to know better and too young to resist. Or, I'm a thirty. Or, I'll be thirty-one in a month or so.

So back in the late 90s, Mom got Sim City 2000, and there was this trailer on it for a game called The Sims... Or, back in the early 90s, my little brother borrowed this Super Nintendo game from the neighbor kids called SimCity. It was addictive. We all loved it. MOM loved it. And we started buying Maxis games for the computer.

You know. Before Will Wright sold Maxis to EA. I hope he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Do you ever base a Sims family after your own home life?

Uh yeah no. Not my style. No selfsims, no mini-me dolls (surprisingly popular), no sim copies of my family or my pets. ... Although I keep threatening to build the house and see how it could be renovated.

And that's the end of the meme. Anyway, current project is the silly plantsim hair, which will be followed by some hennins-- having some trouble coming up with ideas, because most of the paintings I've seen with that sort of hennin have been variations on the themes of gold, black, white, and/or silver. Which, okay, goes with everything, but it doesn't leave me much scope to play with. (Resources SAY they came in 'richly dyed' colors and silk and velvet and 'other costly stuff,' but as far as images go... gold with black, gold with white, silver with black, silver with white, gold with silver...)

Plantsim hair looks wonderful, but you already knew that. ;)

Sorry you're having trouble with the hennins. On the one hand, one or two that "goes with everything" is SUPER awesome, on the other ... kind of limiting for you.

Maybe you could make some in your heraldry colors? At least that would give you something to start with -- and it's not like it would be AT ALL difficult to find dresses in black, green, red, blue, and purple. Heck, Maxis did half the work for you with some of the EA Store gowns (and you did the other half of the work for yourself with your "Good Witch, Bad Witch, Princess, Queen" dresses).

Lastly, I am very, very flattering that Albion is one of the stories you've stuck with! Thank you! :D
