This Gara Sofa & chair were texture-referenced by Darkmoon (very kindly and in violation of Gara's policy, but that's why I upload to my own blog so nobody can yell at anyone but me if they come back from hiatus or inactivity and go WHAT), and use Piggi's Wood 03 blended with the original textures, recolored in (of course) 20 Pooklet Project Mayhem naturals.

Here, have a nice shot in full sun that really shows the textures, rather than indoor daytime lighting with a lounging vampire. Although I hadn't yet started blending Piggi 03 with the SDA Castle Kitchen wood when I retextured these, I actually feel they blend pretty nicely with all the... everything... I've been using those woods on.

Are they historically accurate?
It's more like I don't feel like these are particularly inaccurate, although they're certainly expensive pieces.
Wood, remember, was expensive-- you needed it for cooking, you needed it for charcoal for smithing and making quicklime, you needed it for heating, you needed it for construction, you needed it for furniture, you needed it for plates and bowls, you needed it for tool handles. It was no wonder, really, that if you could make do with a coppiced pole for your project, you did. Big pieces like this, which took timber, not just wood, were more likely to be seen in churches or upper-class homes than anywhere you brought the goat inside for an extra heat source in the winter.
Gara's pretty carved recolors would probably be even more accurate, but I was having trouble getting them to cooperate with blending, and now that I've got a few more things to sample from... Well, that just means I can maybe do more later, doesn't it?
The sofa is 400 polys, and the chair only 328, making these a nice option for public seating anywhere you need to put down plenty of seating.
Behold the Tip Jar!
In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
