Still On Hiatus but about Missing Hairs

I have gotten your comments and PMs, everybody, but I'm in the 'crunch time' portion of my Usual Summer Simming Hiatus-- my big miniature show is next weekend and the prep is extra-"fun" this year what with my sister, her husband, their toddler, their pets, and all their stuff moved in and underfoot. So, blanket response to everything about missing hairs:

1. The MT Cakestore hairs get pulled down a LOT, I don't know why.
2. Yes, I have backups. I have triple backups. I have a passport drive full of backups.
3. I'll fix the links but I don't have time to do so right now.
4. Yes, I probably should switch to Sims File Share.
5. Yes, if you have your own copies of hairs people are looking for, feel free to share them while Mediafire is being Mediafire.
6. No, further comments as to which files are down probably will not help.

I hate to sound prickly but I'm on hiatus, I will be on hiatus until at least the middle of September and possibly until early October, the way things are going. I never have time to Sim in the summer and this year hasn't been a great year for 'things Hat can do for fun' since February.

Indeed I do not know you, Paradox 07, and because of that, and because I've known Sunni basically since I started creating for Sims, I need you to understand the massive benefit of the doubt I'm granting you when I say, where are your receipts?

I mean, the first thing you should know is that I didn't quit Plumb Bob Keep; I lurk there, because I have a mental illness that gives me a very low limit to how thin I can spread myself socially, and despite the thematic content, I chose Garden of Shadows as my message board of choice because I felt a better overall fit in personality with the userbase there. I had, and currently have, no personal beef with Sunni herself.

Second, I'm a little bit completely aghast that this week of all weeks is the week you pick to imply a website moderator is a despot. I'm trying very hard not to hold your timing against you, but again, I'm a mentally ill American queer. Your timing super sucks, especially since you either picked the most recent post on my blog and just didn't read it, or read that as of my last blog entry I haven't yet ended my hiatus, and decided your chain letter couldn't wait for me to have the spoons to rejoin the Simming community officially.

If you deign to respond to me, I expect an apology about the timing.

And yes, this is me inviting a response, because I'm very curious about those receipts.

Specifics. Links. Screenshots. If you have the tea, as the kids these days say, spill that tea.

Because let me tell you, your chain letter sounds a lot like you broke rules repeatedly, got yourself banned, met up with someone else who broke rules and got banned, tried to sockpuppet your way back onto Sunni's forum that she literally owns, found out about the internet's second most basic level of security, and are now trying to stir up a bullying campaign against Sunni.

If that's your intention, that's not starting here.

If, on the other hand, something is legitimately up with Sunni, then I require specifics. I spent ten years in a (non-Sims) friendship that had to end, messily, before I could see that it was in fact super-toxic, so I'm not dismissing you out of hand. Prove it-- tell me what she did, specifically what she did, besides ban you. Tell me what she said. Links, screenshots, and specific details; since I've known Sunni for basically seven years, the burden of proof is on you.

If you can't do more than insist, the week Donald Trump became America's president-elect, that a woman in a position of moderate power is a selfish, lazy, vindictive, manipulative, nasty, control-freak despot, then you are free to leave my blog and not return. I can see your IP address, too.

I also expect an apology for the ableist language-- we all have control issues here in the Sims Community, or we wouldn't be so invested in a game that, with a little fiddling, gives us near complete control over everything.
