Over on The Big Trade-Off, I made some Piggi-wood recolors of the ATS Beachhouse Nursery for Eltanin, and I think they turned out pretty well. Here's the title card:

I'll edit this entry to be a proper full post later.

EDIT: Well, it's 2021, I'm making the shift to imgur, may as well!

This isn't my usual sort of thing at all, and, uh, the CM conversions I was hoping for never materialized. But!

All the pieces are shown in I think Wood 10, which I like a lot, and all the upholstery and/or bedding is shown in Pooklet's Volatile. Lemme hit you with some details, starting with swatches:

Twenty Piggi woods! I admit I do not think there are a lot of uses for 12 and 15 (butcher block and weathered wood, respectively), but I include them because I'm a completist.

And upholstery colors! You get twelve because I couldn't decide between Forget-Me-Not and Ocean or Yam and Maple. The stripes are the original white. If you want a pinker pink than Seashell, let me know-- it was just the one that turned out lightest.

I fiddled with saturation and hue until I got a super-neutral baby monitor, and grabbed a tiled texture for the tissue box. I also made the tissue itself white. (I'm stupidly proud of that tissue box, actually, I think it turned out really cute.)

Aaaaand I forgot to do various colors on the life preserver, but a quick google tells me they're red-striped white 90% of the time (the other ten percent is made up of solid white, blue striped, and blaze-orange striped, from most to least). I actually made textures for a different blue, but I completely forgot to USE them.

I have no idea what's going on with the changing table wastebasket. The original color is on the left there.

So, a couple credits before I throw the link at you-- all woods are by the inimitable Piggi, color actions are by Pooklet, Aelia, and CuriousB, and for the pads on the crib, changing table, and high chair, I threw some Aquilegia linen into the mix for texture. The changing table pad is slaved to the crib bedding. The storage doodad says it's a desk. It turns out Free Time bookcases work for Apartment Life things like studying Parenting, who knew? (I may have, and then forgotten.)

Wanna help me feed my cats?

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.

Yeah! Beach House Stuff!

I love the entire beach house set and miss playing with it. There aren't enough cute nurseries for my medieval hood. So, this is very much appreciated. Can't wait for the "proper full post". Thanks so much!
