The VERY LAST POST I have to make to back up my GoS advent goodies.

Let's start with the altar niche! Gwenke made this one for me and it's awesome. It's based on an object by Dincer Hepguler. See, I liked my Sims being able to pray, I liked the niche itself, but I really didn't care for the fact that they were stuck praying to a cross. Gwenke did marvelous meshing work to remove the cross, raise the roof of the niche, add slots, and change the base of the mesh to allow for stone recolors. This means you can take almost any little statue or decorative figurine (crosses, saints, gods, action figures, whatever floats your Sims' boat), slip it in one of the two slots (so you have some leeway if the roof clips your chosen doodad), and have your Sims pray to... whoever. Whatever.

A thousand and one uses-- private chapels, pagan altars, ancient Roman lares and penates, photos of celebrities your Sims are stalking, or just giving a patron saint or deity an honored place in the household. I will warn you, it uses Dincer Hepguler's original praying animations, and so it looks more like your Sims are ranting to and pleading with their divinity of choice than just praying. I caught Page Jeanne there at an opportune moment.

Though originally intended for stone recolors, I stole textures from the University Medieval furniture set and Pooklet'd them. You get all sixteen of Pooklet's naturals, their three grays, my one homebrew Smoke Bomb gray, and three University-match wood tones. There are also some candle recolors, but I don't remember what they are now (but I think I used some of CuriousB and Aelia's actions).

If you play a Medieval game, the best thing about the University expansion is the Medieval furniture set. Eva already slapped some Project Mayhem onto the double bed, which you can find right here, so I didn't reinvent the wheel on that one-- I just did everything else to go with it.

This set requires University, obviously. My favorite add-on slaved pieces are by HugeLunatic and Ailias here and here and here, which should be base-game compatible. Also highly recommended is Huge Lunatic's mod that slaves the bed curtains to the bedding you select, right here.

Behold all the dining chairs in all Pooklet's Project Mayhem naturals! I managed to do this one exactly upside down of how I usually lay out my swatches.

I've also included recolors of CTNutmegger's curtained single bed, which you can find right here. The mesh for the bed is included, but not for the separate curtains since those are slaved to the bedding-- if you want 'em, go nab 'em from MTS. This bed is base-game compatible. (The dark spots on CTNutmegger's bed's posts are shadows where the canopy ties on. I left the canopy off so you could see the wood.) ... You know, the more I look at the Maturely Medieval single bed, the non-four-poster bed, the more I think I forgot to recolor it and left it with the original Maxis cherry finish in that picture instead of painting it Molotov. Ah well, it shows the difference nicely, since the headboards are shaded the same. (Don't worry, I DID do all the recolors for the bed. I just messed up that picture.)

Wanna help me feed my cats?

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.

The altar niche is fantastic! Where did you get the tiny Gray Woman statue?
