Whoo okay so.

I have an upload or two brewing (did some colors of Buggybooz's niches. And by some I mean, like, forty), but I also did some housekeeping, in that I tidied up my Sticky Post. I'm actually considering putting the wish-and-resource lists into their own posts, but I've added some projects to my to-do list (expect clothes again before too long; I've got toddler gowns in the works), started a Medieval Pregmorph section that may not be completely up to date (I got an adult male, an adult female, and a teen female Sim pregnant, then checked every mesh I have for pregmorphs. It took for-freaking-ever) but DOES have links to a metric fuckton of older Medieval-ish meshes that have been updated with pregmorphs. Feel free to shower me with links if you know where to find other Medieval pregmorph updates. I think I forgot Dicreasy's.

... Er, I lost part of a sentence somewhere-- anyway, I also threw together a wishlist as long as my arm for meshes I'd love to have converted to different ages, AND a similar wishlist for the three custom bodyshapes I want to use. That's in the stickypost, but right here I'm going to post a pared-down version.

See, what I discovered, going through my game and sorting the through the meshes that were useful or nifty, then sorting through those to find the ones that either I liked a lot, I could recolor pretty much immediately, or that were insanely useful to me, and the number I keep bumping into is YAEF has the most meshes, and for having gowns, nightclothes, swimclothes, and a couple of character outfits, the grand total of nineteen (eighteen if the shape is too shapely for her to pass as a boy) isn't so bad. CU (which might not even be needed with most custom bodyshapes), TM, and YAEM tie for the least, with sixteen (i the shape isn't broad enough to need resized armor, then it's eighteen for YAEM and seventeen for TM). That's right-- less than twenty different meshes for everybody, and the adult ladies aren't hogging extra meshes.

Anyway, I made a list.

Hat's Ideal Custom Bodyshape Starter Kit for Medieval Games

These nine things I require to strike a good balance between 'I have everything I need' and 'I'm a greedy little bitch.'

1. A showerproof skintone with the following qualities:
a) Custom shape for both genders and at least teen through elder, custom child shapes where needed (adults and elders can share a shape; I find the elder posture makes them look plenty old unless the breasts are REALLY perky)
a) Believable fat morphs for all ages and both genders (you can gain fat without losing muscle. Even very muscular people can get pudgy)
b) Pregmorphs for at least AF, TF, and AM, with elders (if different than adults) and teen boys up to the mesher (but only because I can't get teens pregnant by alien abduction).
c) Sexy feet for all ages and both genders (lengthened and/or widened to fit the body as needed)
d) Warlokk/Bloom style UV mapping on sexually dimorphic skins to allow for texture referencing (including nipples and clefts on post-pubescent ladies. Androgynous Sims are off the hook).
e) TF, AF, and EF must have breasts that obey gravity appropriately to their size.

2. Open for Business ninja costumes and Seasons Plantsim outfits for all ages and genders that have a custom shape; Bon Voyage Superninja costumes for at least adults. (Because I love plantsims and my clergysims wear the ninja outfit.) TF, AF, and AM must have pregmorphs.
Aquilegia's CU Ninja conversion
Cocomama's CU, TM, and TF Plantsim conversions
Cocomama's TF and TM Ninja conversions
TheMysticalOne's AF Ninja, Plantsim, and Superninja with pregmorphs
Ove's AM Ninja with pregmorph
Transylvanian's Superninja with Pregmorph
Whimsical Krikkiter's AM Plantsim with pregmorph

3. A male block-foot nude mesh with the buttcrack fairly smoothed out, available to all ages affected by the custom shape. For chausses! AM must have a pregmorph.

4. If and ONLY IF the female shape could pass as 'kind of boyish' if she bound her breasts flat, a flat-chested block-foot nude mesh with smoothed buttcrack, available to all applicable ages, for chausses (ladies with broad hips or large breasts are off the hook). Must have a pregmorph.

5. A true nude full body outfit for all ages and genders with custom shapes (I use it for underwear or pajamas. 'Naked' is never out of period). A swimsuit mesh for TF/AF would also be appreciated (no nipples or cleft), but I'd only use it for plantsim bikinis so it's not like that's a deal-breaker. AF, TF, and AM must have pregmorphs.

6. If the custom shape is available to children, in order of importance I would need...
a) Tiggerypum's CM Alpha tunic
b) Iamliz's Assassin's Creed robe for children
c) Cynnix's Laced-Sleeve Gown
d) Oph3lia's Bracer-free edit of Aligeth's Robin Hood Mesh
e) Cynnix's assorted variations of Amaryll's summery strapdress (at least the tight-sleeve variants with flats and sexy feet, please)
f) FantasyRogue's separate tunics and chausses
g) Fakepeeps girls' nightgown fp7_chFlsnightie_122808 (in comment five)
h) Ghanima's CF Vampire
i) Silvain Shadows's sexyfeet edit of Fakepeeps' CF Baby Doll nightie
j) Ghanima's CM Warlock

7. For flexibility for Teen and Adult females, who of course need pregmorphs, in order of importance I would need...
a) Iamliz's Medieval Alpha Dress
b) Cynnix's laced-sleeve gown
c) Cynnix's sexyfeet edit of Needlecream's edit of a Liana dress.
d) Cynnix's assorted variations of Amaryll's summery strapdress (at least the tight-sleeve variants with flats and sexy feet, please)
e) Cocomama's small fur coat long
f) Cocomama's coat fur trim long
g) Parsimonious Kate's Faerie Witch dress (k8facfaeriewitchdress101009)
h) Basegame tfbodyniteshirt (one with block feet and one with sexy feet, please)
i) Basegame afbodynightgown (one with block feet and one with sexy feet, please)
j) Beryllium's Frigg's Dress

8. To properly garb Teen and Adult males, although it's only adults who need pregmorphs, in order of importance I would need...
a) Tiggerypum's Alpha tunic
b) Oph3lia's bracer-free edit of Aligeth's Robin Hood tunic
c) FantasyRogue's separate tunics and chausses
d) Iamliz13's Rus Viking tunic
e) Cynnix's update of Lunar Eclipse's Count D robe
f) Marja's no-jewel versions of Lunar Eclipse's Count D robe
g) G-Knee's block and sexyfeet conversions of the Sim-Ages nightshirt
h) Cynnix's Aligeth Friar Tuck with FantasyRogue poulaines
i) Apartment Life ambodywitch/tmbodywitch

9. If a custom bodyshape is smaller/narrower than Aquilegia's Androgyny or larger/broader than a Lean Bodybuilder, then also (probably without pregmorphs)...

Sims 2 Store Castle Set TM Knight
Open for Business aubodymascotknight

So yeah, that's a thing. Oh, also I discovered this, which probably everybody else has seen before... but it's new to me, and it kind of thrills me because at least as a female example, it's REALLY close to my ideal for a plump bodyshape. (One step heavier than the Maxis fatmorph. It's perfect, it blends in well with AG/RNR (one, maybe two steps burlier than the Maxis default) and Aquilegia's Androgyny (same as Maxis from the waist seam down). Dang, man, I think I have to go make a request or a collaboration post at Garden of Shadows.
