If you have NVIDIA's 196.75 drivers, ROLL BACK, the update has been pulled!

Details right here, and you can find instructions on how to roll back your graphics card drivers here for XP, and here for Vista and here for 7. Instructions for finding out what driver version you're using are available on Nvidia's own forums, in case you're not sure what you've got.

Sorta thought this one might be worth spreading around, since the company has admitted the 169.75 drivers fry graphics cards because the fan-controlling programming is functioning improperly in this update... and a cool graphics card is a happy graphics card. Crossposted to Garden of Shadows, despite being fairly certain only Goslings have this blog on their reading list.

Knowledge like this is totally worth not being a download update.
