Good Witch, Bad Witch, Princess, Queen

Once upon a time, I sat down to fiddle with Photoshop. I had it in my head that I wanted to brighten up this dress by Sherahbim, because I LOVE it but I wouldn't want to put everyone in dark, dark green.
Hours later, I had twenty-four recolors of the damn thing, and wrote to Sherahbim for permission to share them, which she generously gave. And then I promptly forgot about the whole 'sharing' thing until a couple of days ago, when I discovered the psd file lurking in one of my folders, made three more recolors, and said, "I have to share this before I work my way up to a hundred."

What does a woman want? Usually, to have her own way.
So yeah.

Here's that brighter green one. That worked well!

It amazed me I was able to get so many colors that are nowhere near green out of it, though.

Suitable for witches, whether wicked, neutral, or sparkly-shiny-good (okay, the bumpmap is a little out of control on that blue one, but on the blue one, it works for me).

Demure enough for a princess, too, even if this is not the most princessy color I have.

Elegant and regal if your princess-- or heck, one of your witches-- happens to end up a queen.
Onward to the babble!
Original is by Sherahbim on a mesh by Iamliz13; mesh is included, original is not. Despite a lack of pictures, the mesh has a fat morph AND a pregnant morph; the pregmorph is one of the reasons I did so many recolors.
Floors used for these photos are by CrabofDoom; she Pooklet'd the Smitty floors from Apartment Life and you can get them here.
Stone walls used are from the Maxis-match Complete Castle Wall set, because Paigeturnersims noticed the Store's set didn't come with any wallpaper.
The wooden wall in that shot with the blue chair is by Sherahbim, too.
The house in the photos is the Little Aristocrat from Parsimonious; it's adorable, but don't forget to add a gate.
Of course these have all been compressorized; there are twenty-eight of them and I have them all in my game so they kinda HAD to be. All dresses are categorized for everyday, formal, and winterwear, and should be available for adults and young adults; if they're not, I did something wrong.
These files are NOT labeled with my name; they are numbered and labeled with what color they are. Mix and match, knock yourself out; the sets below are organized by the order the dresses were made in and not anything sensible like... color.
Do as you please with these so long as you don't use them for profit... or put them anywhere near TSR.

Wanna help me feed my cats?
In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.

Date: 2010-02-14 05:25 am (UTC)Glad you like 'em-- four more sets of heraldic menswear are on the list of things to do, too, but I want to re-organize some of the old files before I fling them up here.
