Hair Dump Yet Again, Part One

It's that time again... I like to call it 'Hair dump time.' This dump is SO BIG I'm splitting it in twain because... well, my swatch pics are on the big side.

There are forty-one hairs lurking here for your downloading pleasure, and as usual they're hairs I kind of want, which means they're on the Medieval side. Since there are forty-one hairs (in two entries), you're getting boilerplate outside the cut.

One: NO PAYSITES. I use Pooklet's actions, Pooklet says no, Pooklet is entitled to that.

Two: Meshes are included, swatches are (or should be) in the files. I have no idea what the poly counts are, but I generally assume that Newsea is high, Nouk is reasonable, and Peggy is all over the map. All these files are compressorized for your pleasure, but a lot of them are still pretty frickin' huge. Four families, Pooklet's grays plus one homebrew because everything must be even omigod, plus bonus custom Time Bomb in case Primer isn't platinum enough for you.

Three: Please beat these files up. No, really. Don't like my binning? Fine, go on and re-bin 'em. Give the elders colors instead of grays (there are three ways to go about this that I know of). Do the unnaturals. For the love of god, shorten my file names-- just because I credit everybody right in the name of the folder doesn't mean you have to leave it that way. I shorten them just for use myself. Change the tooltips, do whatever makes you happy. I don't care. Just give credit where credit is due if you re-upload later.

Four: I have some donators to thank, and I'm just going to say "Thank you donators!" to respect everybody's fiscal privacy. Folks, my Photobucket is paid, so I have zero bandwidth worries. I don't think I'd be doing hair dumps if not for that. Itty bitty proper single posts once in a blue moon when I finally took pictures, but not dumps.

Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.

Hey, no worries-- hair is hair! I'm at least going to get through the list I've got, and probably add more as I go, but the Sims world can never have too much hair.

Besides, I know how the 'started a lot of them' goes. Most of these have been sitting in my Body Shop for ages, and I got the urge to just... blow through some hairs. And then it takes me weeks to get around to taking pictures and then cropping pictures and making swatches...

Did not finish Mordred's hair. I actually can't even remember what I was doing to Mordred's hair. Mordred's hair is a bitch to recolor, but I want it. It may be a little old, but it doesn't look as piecey once all the highlights line up, and it really does bring something unique to the party.

The elder gray for Family Two (shrapnel, safety fuse, volatile, pyrotechnic) is a homebrew-- just take your texture in Mail Bomb, slap your texture in Time Bomb over it, and hit Multiply on Time Bomb. Tadaa, you have what I like to call Smoke Bomb.

Well, thank you! I'll admit A Little Dated is mostly Peggy's textures with touches of Pooklet, but I was okay with the original textures... the colors were another story! (And without Ja, Market Day and Wagnerian couldn't have happened-- I've stolen a lot of her curved textures from all the default replacement sets she's been doing.)

Hello! Hair dumps are gonna be the last to be properly updated to SFS/imgur, because there's a lot of coding and because I did not back up my images for hair dumps by dump but by hair. However, you totally can download Bath Knot! Please refer to this post, I did my level best to get everything I've ever made up onto Sims File Share, even if I haven't fixed up the actual posts yet.
