Rebecah's functional knitting requires FreeTime, increases Creativity skill, and adds Art enthusiasm-- and when your Sim is finished knitting, they can either sell their project for $100, or get $100 towards the purchase of a new outfit.

Not bad, really!

The yarn textures are Beck's own; I was pretty happy with them. The knitting needles are Piggi's Wood 18-- I didn't keep track of what colors I used with which yarn, but they're all one of the following Pooklet Naturals: Depth Charge, Incendiary, Explosive, Safety Fuse, Volatile, Fission, Grenade, or Comburent. And importantly, recolors only work on the yarnball object, not the accessory that manifests in your Sim's hands while knitting.

Is this historically accurate?

Technically it's close enough! Nalbinding was a single-needle knitting technique that the Vikings used to make properly fitted wool ankle socks (because if there's anywhere you need good, flexible, fitted wool socks, it's Vikingland), and we have images of the Virgin Mary knitting made in the period. It's not common, but it's known, and that's good enough for me!

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
