"Hat," you say, "Didn't Sun & Moon release a huge laundry set? Why are you adding this little thing to Buy Mode Blitz and not something cool like that?"
To which I say, one, I recolored this before Loads O' Laundry dropped, two, if I'd recolored Sun & Moon stuff it'd probably be in the 'member recolors' section where it's supposed to be, and three... Loads O'Laundry taught me a very valuable lesson, and that lesson is: I don't have to use everything Sun & Moon releases.

So what is Beck's functional laundry tub, and how does it differ from Sun & Moon's Loads O' Laundry, and why should anyone care, and why are there only three recolor textures on this thing, Hat, seriously, that's not like you.
With Sun & Moon's Loads O' Laundry, you get a whole functional system that washes your Sim's clothes, boosts hygiene, allows them to run a laundromat, requires soap, there's hampers for dirty clothes, it's got trait support I think, it's-- there's all KINDS of things in there, it's very cool and detailed.

Rebecah's Laundry Tub, on the other hand, sends your Sim to wash laundry and, when they're done, gives them $30. It teaches Cleaning skill and, like most Cleaning-based activities, grants Nature enthusiasm.
Loads O' Laundry adds a new dimension to your gameplay; the Laundry Tub lets you say, "This peasant takes in laundry for extra cash."
And that's it! (Free Time may be required, it is for the rock I have not recolored.)
And as it turns out, this tub and the rock are... uh, about exactly as hard as I want to think about laundry, in my game. I have to spend way more time thinking about laundry in reality than makes me happy, after all. So that's why I recolored this one instead of selections from Loads O' Laundry-- this is as hard as I want to go with laundry in my game, and maybe it's also as hard as you want to go with laundry in yours. Because I know if I want something, at least ten other people out there also want it.
This is for you, my fellow ten people who just want to say, "This peasant takes in laundry for a little extra cash," and handwave the rest of it.

As the tub is a cooped/barrel tub, and as I really like the Wood For Sims Winery textures on barrels, I have stolen them and slapped them on there instead of going Full Pooklet. Being honest with myself, I'm probably going to use the light wood one the most anyway.

There are three objects involved in the object... er. Three packages involved in the object, BecksLaundryTub, BecksLandryTub-ClothingWad, and for the occasional disaster (which I haven't seen yet), BecksLaundryTub-ClothingWadPink. For the tub to function properly, you need all three package files installed no matter how many of my recolors you want to keep.
... I also may have recategorized this; Rebecah put the original in Hobbies/Misc but I seem to recall shoving it in Appliance Large, because... it's a large appliance? To me?
I don't know, I re-sort things in the catalog all the time, my entire Electronics Entertainment subcategory is magic and potions (and poisons). If you want to be sure the tub is where its creator intended and not where I can remember to look for it, grab the original?
But if you want the WFS barrel textures, because they're such pretty barrel textures, grab mine:

Behold the Tip Jar!
In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
