hat_plays_sims: All I did was crop-- go read Bite Me by Dylan Meconis, you'll laugh. (Default)
If I do it at all, I'll do it in colors. I will certainly do flat colors? Like, if you follow the Halo Bonnet link to Kat's Hats, there's a lady with a yellow hat trimmed in black, and I can certainly do that, and another gall with a burgundy hat whose brim underside is in pale blue, and I can do that. (I can't do the brocade or the fancy spangles, but I can do the color.) If I'm adding trim, it's not gonna be self-colored trim, it'll be a contrast or gold or silver (... actually probably, like. Incendiary or Mail Bomb) to match the brooch holding the feathers down.

I'm getting my accessory mojo back with some jewelry (lovely stuff, jewelry, if I limit myself to extant examples and reproductions I don't have to do eighty-two colors of everything), but I'll definitely play around with the hats some more this week.
