My policy, unless otherwise noted, is 'do whatever you want as long as you credit everyone whose work is involved and don't break their policies.' Usually, someone whose meshes, textures, actions, coding, or templates I've used has 'no paysites' somewhere in their policy, so it's probably a good idea to assume, well, no paysites.

Date: 2015-02-19 11:43 pm (UTC)As for dress meshes, do you mean tops that would work with the skirt? If so, the only top-only separate I have for women I'd use is this untuckable one by Cynnix, although she's also done a loose top in this set that I keep thinking I should do something with someday. (I've also got a rucked skirt top, but that will not work for these purposes.)
If you mean you want examples as to how I the overdress should hang or the skirt should be shaped, the shape of Cynnix's bottom-only trained gown (in that same link with the loose top) would work really well as a skirt shape, and the alpha-editable part basically needs to hang smoothly down from the bust and shoulderblades, similarly to the Frigg gown or Mio's Italian Renaissance gown (which is too snug under the breasts, but the back falls beautifully. It's also got a skirt shape I'd be happy with).
Yes to morphs, please! If you want to make it for other bodyshapes, I'd be delighted (I use Androgyny, Athletic Girl, and RenGal V2, you can find some meshes for them in my tags in the sidebar), but as I don't have any separate tops for them, a Teen conversion with morphs would probably be more practical. (I'll recolor the HELL out of it, whatever ages and shapes you make it for.)
And you can find he shoes here on men or here on women, but not much actual leg shows on the ladies.
I'm okay continuing to talk here if you are! I don't know if this conversation would break any rules at MTS, and I don't have an account at LeeFish. I'd love to know your handle, though! (I know Dreamwidth accepts OpenID logins, but I can't remember which other blogging sites that works with, besides LiveJournal and Wordpress.)
