And Dagger Outtakes and Picspam

hat_plays_simsNormally I don't do this, but apparently throwing character Sims in a house to model stuff makes me poke at them for hours. I took pics to share with a friend, and... well, why not share them with everyone?
First up, the 'And Dagger' outtakes. I took a lot of shots from the same angle of Blackmist, Farflight, Echo, and Bounce all sitting around a table talking and making faces at each other, then combined the best poses that could be combined into the title card.
These are some of the leftovers.
Whatever you said, Echo, nobody found it amusing.
And whatever Echo and Farflight are planning, Bounce and Blackmist do not agree. (They probably shouldn't.)
Sometimes both boys know when a plan is a bad plan.
Apparently Echo has these plans a lot.
Cheese it you guys it's the cops!
And then, of course, there are the random "Well, now I'm just goofing around" pictures-- pure, classic picspam.
I sent Farflight to jump on the sofa (bench) to show off how bendy the cloaks are. He... immediately overdid it.
And I would've used this one in the ad copy, but I probably should've used Echo for it; with Farflight the colors are a little dull.
But he makes the best faces. (I think I started building Farflight using an Alfred Askew template. It gives him great smiles.)
The welcome wagon turned up, and I was taking pictures of silly Sims expressions to show my friend, and suddenly there were rings in the shot and Echo and Farflight really need to work on playing it cool. Guys, I don't think you CAN steal another Sim's accessories, stop plotting.
Echo usually looks so collected even if she doesn't think Farflight can pull off that con.
Or when Farflight realizes the plan is a bad plan.
It's a very bad plan, whatever it is. (Honestly this is about the point my brain started going "Echo and Farflight are going to end up a couple in the Sims, aren't they?")
Let's try diplomacy!
We're bad at diplomacy, let's try something else.
Finally, I moved away from 'sitting around the table making silly faces, again.' At this point, Farflight wants a bath, Neighbor Guy wants to pee, and Blackmist isn't having any fun at all. I tried to line this up pretty because it's such a Sims picture that I had to save it, but, well, bathrooms are small.
That awkward moment when you realize your pirates and mercenaries all have Neat scores of at least four, because the pirate captain just can't stand a dirty countertop.
By that point, everyone was tired, so I refrained from giving them any tasks, gave them exactly enough beds to double up (despite nobody being a couple), and just let them do whatever they wanted to do.
Echo took the bedroom. Then this happened:
"Wait, I don't like you well enough to share a bed with you."
"Feeling's mutual, mate, one of us is getting out of here."
"... So... Sleepy..."
Poor Blackmist crawled in bed with Echo, Bounce took the big bed to herself, and Farflight...
Farflight needs to improve his friend-making skills. Don't worry, by the next night, they were all friends enough to stop caring who crashed next to who, and Farflight didn't have to sleep on the more-comfortable-than-it-looks bench again.
By the next morning, Bounce still had no idea why both boys wanted to eat breakfast shirtless. (I picked Blackmist's skin for his eyelids, and it turned out to be an Androgyny skin, so I rolled with it where I could. Bounce isn't actually on an Athletic Girl skin, just in the clothes.)
So, a day of eating, skilling, and job-searching later, I finally decided to randomize everybody's sexual preferences in ACR.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT:
So much for Echo being married to her work.
I live in terror of the day when the pirate captain and the mercenary she rescued from a shipwreck, then turned loose on an unsuspecting universe, manage to breed. Seriously, they land in bed and I cringe and go 'oh god is it chimes now? Please please please don't be chimes."
They've had several chances, because Echo instigates. A lot. Blackmist is the one with a Romance secondary (he and Bounce have fooled around, and Bounce and Farflight have flirted; jealousy is off on this lot), but it's Echo who tends to go 'let's in the bed now please.' Or on the bench, but I don't have pictures of that. I think Photobucket might object.
And that's the end of my picspam, in which horrible people make ridiculous faces and make me go 'why are you doing that?' at them.
