Well, I don't know who you are, Anon, so I don't know if you play Medieval or if you're just here browsing for something that might work in a modern game. *grins* I'm glad you've had fun 'shopping.'

I'm interested in history (of certain periods), so I'm interested in textiles, manufacturing, politics, sociology, fashion, cooking, you name it. I had a look at the Wiki article, and the trouble with mauve-the-dye versus mauve-the-Autumn-color-action is that it actually looks like Pooklet's Toxicity, Afterburner, or Combustible-- all rich, bright colors. On the Aelia Autumn swatch, Mauve is in the last row, dead center. It's not historical mauve and I'm not sure it's a Medieval color, either.
