Not exactly a hair dump, these are goodies that don't fit in any of the larger categories I have for my massive posting spree today.

Let's start with my poor excuse for a hair dump.

Keep It Low-Key
Aikea Guinea's Royal We Stand-alone All-Ages Edit by Aquilegia/Pooklet textures/Pooklet's actions
2,324 Polys
Toddler-Elder
Male
I love hair. I love my new fancy version of Photoshop that lets me warp hair textures. (This is the first hair where I took advantage of that.) But apparently, I also love comic book movies and puns.

Eight Years a Milkmaid
Aikea Guinea's Royal We MtF by Aquilegia/Pooklet textures/Pooklet's actions
2,324 Polys
Toddler-Elder
Female
But even more than comic book movies, puns, and Tom Hiddleston in Thor, I love mythology nerdery. Get the joke and you get internet cookies. (See Keep It Low-Key for turnaround; these use the same textures.) If you find yourself in need of names printed on the colors, click my Hair Dump tag on the right and you'll find my labeled swatch as the header to most posts. As always, you get a gray attached to every color (because it's easier to remove them than to move them), Time Bomb for all ages in the Custom bin, and these are binned with my homebrew gray, Smoke Bomb, as the Family 2 gray. Because doesn't it look so nice to have four colors in every bin?

Magnusson and Polaris
Synaptic Sims Nu Magneto Helmet/Sims Medieval textures/Pooklet, CuriousB, and ONE of Aelia's actions
1,842 Polys
Young Adult-Elder
Unisex (but keep both meshes)
I honestly dont' know why I gave this accessory (yup it's an accessory) two different names, since you can only use one set of files. See 'comic book nerdery' again, I guess. Okay, this is an accessory, which means (as shown on Magnusson up there) your Sims can wear this helmet over the Sims 2 Store maille coif and protect their tender throats. (I have a recolor of the coif to share, someday, but the teen scalp has gone all funky so that day is not today. I live in hope somebody will make a maille coif that covers more of the throat.) You can download this one two ways, as a glasses-binned accessory or as a Bon Voyage binned eyebrow ring. ... Because that's where my notes say to put helmets, and the notes must be right.

Castaway Stories AF Swimsuits with Bloom's Sexy Feet
Bloom's CastSwim Mesh/Castaway Stories textures
4,247 Polys
Young-Adult and Adult only
Female
What is this this is not even any kind of headgear! No, this is the Castaway Stories swimsuit Bloom did with his sexy feet (and a pregmorph!) but he only did two colors. So I did all of them, plus a version with no body paint. I asked if anyone wanted them, and Eva said she did. You can download them as regular custom clothes or pinned to Bon Voyage, and find them in your catalog either as swimwear or underwear.

Lilith's Hairlines as BINNED Full-Face Makeup
Lilith's textures tweaked for more centering/Pooklet's actions
Toddler-Elder
Male & Female
So Lilith made these great hairlines, and I downloaded them as soon as they hit the Best Finds in Garden of Shadows. Then I got them in game and got frustrated by two TINY little things: one, they were in the blush bin, and two, the widow's peak and corresponding part were ever-so-slightly off-center. Because I knew both of these things would drive me apeslag crazy, I re-made them as full face makeups and gently shoved the textures around until the part was in the dead center of the head according to the UV map. Then I said to myself, I said, "Self, this is hella cluttered." So I decided to see if I could bin makeup, and you TOTALLY CAN. It's not a full-on Color Binning binned-and-familied style binning, though, so fair warning, and even though I show the grays on my elders, the gray hairlines are available for all ages. (And colors are available for elders if that floats your boat.) All I did was change the hairtone number in SimPE to the correct bin number and there you go.

Of course, when I went to package them up, I discovered I'd faled to grab the version with the corrected alpha that keeps hair off the teeth. So I remade them, re-binned them, and by request of Winterinverona, here they are for everyone to enjoy.

Keep in mind, these do NOT work with EVERY hair. Hairs with an alpha hairline already don't play so well with these, and hairs with really long bangs... well, sometimes it makes a subtle difference, sometimes they just disappear. (Also, if you want to recolor them, as with beards only black and gray show up. Change the Volatile's hairtone value to all zeroes (copy and paste the skintone value), then clone that one.

And that's it for my Epiphany content dump! I hope you found something you can use.

Wanna help me feed my cats?

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.
