When you're playing a historical Sims 2 game, there are three ways you can go about religion: ignore and kinda handwave it, meticulously research and re-create the religious environment of the age you're interested in, or make up your own. I decided to make up my own. It lets me do fun things like declare assorted Simmers to be saints in the main religion, play with Chris Hatch's religion mod, and come up with my own ideas of religious symbols.

And... come on. They're Sims. When I decided I needed a symbol that really meant something to them, the only thing that would suffice was the plumb bob.

So, like the title card said, a hundred sixteen recolors. I do not have pictures of all of those, because that would be crazy, so let me do this instead:

Maxis Shades

Metals Swatch

Gemstones Swatch

I only put the stones on the chain colors I thought they looked good with, but still, most stones looked good with most chains. I am also made of fail and didn't keep track of whose color actions I used for the stones (except HMX)-- I just kept the ones I thought looked like gemstones. I am pretty sure Blissful White is Time Bomb, however.

On the metal necklaces, the whole thing is Nichellerj's textures; the gemstone necklaces use her chain plus a screenshot of a plumb bob stolen right from the game (Classic Green is unedited, in fact).

There are two different versions of the necklace to download, one as an accessory suitable for basegame and up, and one Bon Voyage jewelry-binned as, unsurprisingly, a necklace. There can be only one. ... Of each. You can of course have all the recolors you like if you're as crazy as I am.

I believe the necklaces only work for teen through elder females.

Now it's time for hazy credit and more precise thanks; soon it will be time for downloads. I have to credit Liana for the mesh this is on... but I don't know which mesh. It's one of the two that's included. Much praise goes to Nichellerj for her textures, again although I dont know who got what in terms of stone colors, I have to thank Pooklet, CuriousB, and Aelia for their collective color actions. The standard thanks go to Quaxi for SimPE, Lyn for making sure I had a working copy of Photoshop, and DJ for the Wardrobe Wrangler, the handy dandy little program that makes it easy to bin items as Bon Voyage jewelry, rather than an arduous process full of copying and pasting.

Policy, um. Feel free to recolor with credit where it's due or upload with Sims, but I'm pretty sure paysites would break somebody's policy. Try not to do that, it's rude. Everything has been compressorized, so be sure to clear your cache files before starting your game.

Okay, right.

Wanna help me feed my cats?

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.
