I'd like to change them to look pretty in the family tree rather than as actual Sims in game, I don't think I want to play them in a household. I always find premade Sims to be somewhat daunting, I don't know why, but though I like the look of them, I don't actually like to play as them. Paranoid of messing them up somehow, some weird crap like that. Anyway, I did find a tutorial for SimPE for changing a PT's skintone, hair colour and eye colour, but nothing so far about changing hairstyles or clothing.

On a few completely unrelated notes, I had never considered playing a Sims world with a theme in mind such as medieval or sci-fi, but while prowling around on SimsWiki I found a link to this mod, so thanks for inspiring me to play with a theme :D it's rekindled my desire to play the Sims 2, in fact, although I caved in and cheated to have static motives, because Titania carried off my handsome young male Sim and he ended up with twins. Twins! A single father with twin girls. It was fine looking after them when they were still little, but as soon as they hit toddler life stage, shit really hit the fan. Speaking of these twins, for some reason neither of them had any chins when they turned into toddler. It was quite frightening. I'm pretty sure it's because I used a custom skin on the father, however, which made one of the twins have his skin colour instead of Titania's.

Sorry for going off tangent, I've not played the Sims 2 for a few years and I'm getting over-exuberant.
