So let's say, for argument's sake, that I have an accessory necklace I'm working on (quick, easy work). I've got eleven chain colors (ranging from 'pretend it's a leather cord' to white gold) and a whole MESS of stone colors.

Would you rather have all the possible stone colors on every chain color, or just a few colors on each chain, whatever looked best?

(My aging mod will probably be going up sometime tomorrow... er, later today, rather. I finally got the last file I need checked out and finished, so it's a matter of writing instructions now.)

But now, sleep.

So, okay, I posted this big request for Medieval hairs to the Wishing Tree on Garden of shadows (six mesh edits. Just mesh edits, nothing whole hog), and while Marja is fixing up the old Clubkitty hijab that looks enough like a wimple that I want it, Dicreasy took the Milano Sims Elena Africa hair and edited it so it comes down over the ears! No more clipping with (reasonably) large ears! The version on the first page goes over most ears with no problem, while the version on the second page even comfortably covers Alfred Askew's Roundy template, which has good sticky-outy ears.

For reference's sake, this:

is the mesh I mean.

SO much more usable now. You don't have to make sure your working women have delicate, dainty ears anymore!

It's not that Sims don't live long enough. There are zillions of ways to extend Sims' lifespans, even without hacks-- aging off, elixir of life, murdering hapless townies with your pet abomination of dairy and consuming their essence-- so it's not so much that I want my Sims' lives to be longer.

I want my Sims' lives to make sense.

Don't get me wrong, it's the proportion. I love the breadth, it's the length. Now, she may be the right length, but is she right for me? )

Wanna help me feed my cats?

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.
