Most high praise to you, Hat, for sharing these, and your fascinating snippets of Medieval knowledge! All I have to say is that I was definitely born in the wrong century - with my forehead I would have been considered drop dead gawjus in the Middle Ages! (OK, maybe not the wrong century, when I come to think of it, given the frankly terrifying risks that came from simply being female.) :P
