This blog is file-share friendly but makes every reasonable effort to respect the terms-of-use of free content creators. (This blog also acknowledges that only EA's TOU counts legally. Disregarding another creator's TOU is rude but not illegal.)
My policy, unless otherwise noted, is 'do whatever you want as long as you credit everyone whose work is involved and don't break their policies.' Usually, someone whose meshes, textures, actions, coding, or templates I've used has 'no paysites' somewhere in their policy, so it's probably a good idea to assume, well, no paysites.

Date: 2011-02-22 12:50 pm (UTC)The French braid, on the other hand, is one of those 'somehow we painted this directly on the mesh' hairs. The braidy bit is in the middle like 0 and then off to one side like ( is one half of the front and then up near the top like ~ is the OTHER side of the front, and if the grain doesn't line up perfectly from the braid to the rest of the damn thing, it looks all funky. Now, I got the braid done, I'm just not sure how to make the rest of it work at all. It is MADNESS.
I've got almost everything hidden, and even a lot of what I haven't hidden I'm considering hiding because... Melodie9 all-age conversions so why bother with Maxis, right? Only the extracted Castaway Stories hairs pull the actual hair textures from Halo, that one ethnic men's hair that I can't remember the name of, and straight simple for their textures, and of course there are the NPCs that require Maxis hats and hair...
But yeah, that freaky buzzcut mullet thing can disappear, or be defaulted with something a little saner.
