hat_plays_sims: All I did was crop-- go read Bite Me by Dylan Meconis, you'll laugh. (Default)
I'm so glad you like them, thank you!

Some of the Maxis hairs are on my list, although I tend toward all-age conversions of them... and only the ones that look reasonably Medieval, hairs that don't look like they require a dedicated styling regimen to be physically possible (or at least that don't seem to require anything that wouldn't be available to your average Medieval nobleman). I've got a LOT of the Maxis hairs hidden because they don't suit my game-- I've got to have some kind of limit to what I'll do, or I'll never finish with hairs! *laughs*

Aquilegia is planning on it, and Aquilegia is made of awesome.

I made an attempt at de-modernizing the cereal, at least, but food is pretty low on my list, to be honest. Most of the things that work in period-- pork chops, salmon, chili, the fish dishes you get with Seasons-- aren't too bad in terms of 'hello, this item came from the grocery store!' and the rest... well, cold cereal isn't period, but semolina is. I use a lot of custom food, I really do-- The Dark Project even has bread. Besides, texture defaults would only do so much for things that use cardboard boxes or plastic bags of rectangular loaves of bread, and I still stink at mesh defaulting.

My policy, unless otherwise noted, is 'do whatever you want as long as you credit everyone whose work is involved and don't break their policies.' Usually, someone whose meshes, textures, actions, coding, or templates I've used has 'no paysites' somewhere in their policy, so it's probably a good idea to assume, well, no paysites.
