Hey Hat -- like I mentioned in the other thread, I don't think I'm in much of a position to test this, owing to an astounding lack of time.

However, I do have another make-things-harder mod to throw your way: Permaplat as a Semi-State (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,894.0.html). Basically this mod allows your Sims aspirations to decay, even if they're permaplat -- they just decay much more slowly. If the elder bonus is based off time in platinum, this should help decrease that time.

Or maybe not -- I guess it all depends on just how much time & energy you put into keeping those Sims happy.
