Actually I think it was one of the Newsea hairs where for some reason some of the textures are only 16x16 and WW did not like that. Or I'm getting all the hairs I messed with by now mixed up. Thankfully, binning is also perfectly possible in SimPE :P I get lazy with the elder removals and do that through WW, any other age I do through SimPE so I don't accidentily delete the wrong age :P

I only use my own set at the moment, which is about as complete as a skintone set is going to get for me (I've got all my bases covered) and I use a personal mix of a non-blobby black bit sclera I got from Ja with the irises off one of shady's eyesets (with personal recolours just as you have done, yellows, reds, etc). I'd never seen those maritime eyes before, they're nice.

You can always make the awesome interesting male sim and then just magically gender convert him. I switch sims from male to female and back a lot when I make a new sim to see if the face works for both genders.

Yes, the working properly bit is important. I guess since I'm not doing defaults or anything atm I need less testing. With simple objects I just have to check whether the sim interacts properly and nothing looks out of place and I'm done. Clothes I just check from all angles, make the sim play on the sofa for a while to check if nothing animates horribly weirdly and then done. It sounds like you're very thorough (this is a good thing, btw)

And now I shall stop spamming up your dreamwidth for a while XD (sorry bout that!). I'm off on vacation to London for a long weekend starting tomorrow, so no internet for a few days.
