hat_plays_sims: All I did was crop-- go read Bite Me by Dylan Meconis, you'll laugh. (Default)
And that's why it's easier, at least for me, to stick to one folder at a time to tidy up. Not too long ago, sorted my default replacements in a reasonable fashion (damn do I ever have a lot of defaults), and technically I think I'm still cleaning my hair folder up and out-- if I rePooklet every Pooklet'd hair I've got, I can chuck the incomplete versions...

I've got a mix of Katuchan, Oepu, and Spookymuffin face templates, and one or two of 'em are still Maxis. My trouble is, I picked the ones I wanted to use as sculpting templates, and, um, that doesn't always work so well with random townie and NPC generation. *facepalm* I know how stamping your Sims goes. I really, really need to go through and add some pudgy cheeks or different shaped eyes or something-- my men are okay, and so are my weirdos, but my womenfolk are a little samey. I should probably start downloading other people's Sims, but I'm already sort of attached to mine... Despite the fact that they're sitting in my bin, unused. (Oddly, my PT and Ideal ladies came out pretty distinctive. I don't get it.)

At least they just get Maxis hair. I need to go through the testerhood and fix a few people, or open up a beauty salon or something. Be a good way for somebody to earn a badge.

Hey, it's your project, so it's your timetable, right?

Zombie, Lupe, Plant, Vamp, and Magus started the Creature Feature household-- Puppy is Lupe's alien baby. I had to have somewhere to test my default replacements, right? They all paired off, too. For a ridiculously mean couple, Lupe and Zombie are sure affectionate toward each other and their kids. (Vamp and Plant hooked up, too. Their son is named Daystar, because she's really bad at sunlight and he really, really needs it.)

Tester Valley is a weird place to live. Serviette runs two top-level businesses, there are six adults who've been alien-impregnated a bazillion times, a whole herd of plantsims, more alienfairies than you can shake a ten-foot clown-pole at, and the most frequently-used cheat is maxmotives. ACR is in full swing, somebody's always pregnant (sometimes it's a teenager), and there are poker tables in the Cathedral library. Also there's a jungle community lot in testing for the vacation 'hood.
