This blog is file-share friendly but makes every reasonable effort to respect the terms-of-use of free content creators. (This blog also acknowledges that only EA's TOU counts legally. Disregarding another creator's TOU is rude but not illegal.)
My policy, unless otherwise noted, is 'do whatever you want as long as you credit everyone whose work is involved and don't break their policies.' Usually, someone whose meshes, textures, actions, coding, or templates I've used has 'no paysites' somewhere in their policy, so it's probably a good idea to assume, well, no paysites.

Date: 2010-05-30 10:38 pm (UTC)Yeah, I tried sticking the head bit from Ja's Uni ponytail on it, and it worked okay except for the part where the texture itself is slightly flawed. Doesn't bug me as much on the men's meshes, for some reason. (Likewise, Tig's male elf hair, which I surprisingly like in use but I'm hoping to steal more of Ja's textures if and when she gets down to the basegame hair it was cloned from.)
My testerhood has two servos at the moment-- Servo and Serviette. Servo got the humanoid look from Pescado's clothing tool, while Serviette is using Amaryll's androgynous default. I do seriously love the androgynous shape, but I don't so much like the steampunk look for my Medieval Sims. Besides, I've got this gold-oak texture set aside that I use on every piece of unavoidable technology-- cellular phones, handheld games, the remote control. That and some shiny gold runic lettering and maybe a plumb bob or two is my visual shorthand for A Wizard Did It. ... Cos I like matching content, too.
