Hair Dump... Again

Well, I've been home since Thursday night, I still haven't put my Build and Buy stuff back in my Downloads folder... but I come bearing, um. Twenty-one hairs in yet another hair dump. I SWEAR someday I'll put these up on Garden of Shadows, honest, with pretty in-game pics and everything, but right now? Goddamn I just want to share.

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. Donors get two things at the moment: a) a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery, full of pictures of the cats you'll be feeding, updated sporadically when the cats do something photogenic and I'm fast enough on the trigger to catch it, and b) a link to the list of content I have done-but-not-screencapped, nearly done, partly done, or in the planning stages, and the option to suggest what ought to be in the next batch of things I focus on.

Okay, and since there are twenty-two hairs behind the cut, let's put the boilerplate outside the cut.

One Fish: NO BLOODY PAYSITES. These are Pooklet's actions, Pooklet says no. So don't do it.

Two Fish: Binned! Familied! Compressorized! Meshes included except where you need an expansion pack! Swatches included in the download files!

Red Fish: Elders all have gray-- you get Pipe Bomb for Family One, Smoke Bomb (my homebrew) for Family Two, Mail Bomb for Family Three, and Time Bomb for Family Four. It is complete cluttery overkill, but every color has an elder gray attached, and you may count yourself lucky I didn't just do gray streaks or something. Feel free to re-bin and re-upload as you please, it doesn't hurt my feelings. Time Bomb is included as a custom for all (applicable) ages, since you never know when you'll need a white-haired toddler. Or something.

Blue Fish: Right, so, gotta thank Pooklet, Ja, Quaxi, Theo, Kale, Sugar and Caffeine, FantasyRogue, Bedwyr, Xandher, Ulkrshn, StakeitUK, Coolsims, Newsea, Dora Emon, Yuxi, Jade, Melodie9, Hysterical Paroxysm, HIM666, BeosBoxBoy, Talenzz, SimCribbling, Faceplug, Adele, CutthroatDollie, Augustin, Nissi, Marko, Sussi, Coldfire, Morrigun, Sim Artist's Union, and probably Nouk and always Lyn, because Lyn made sure I had Photoshop, and Photoshop is important.

I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham: OH PLEASE edit my file and/or folder names to taste; I made them ridiculously long so that they could be snipped down to fit folks' organizational systems. If you subfolder these too deeply, they could fail to show due to the name strings being too long. I mean, even I cut things down a bit. Better a ridiculously long filename you can shorten than going "Goddammit, which frickin' hair is this?" later, right?

Sorry about your downloads folder! I'm sort of doing the same thing to myself, though... Sort of, because I'm mostly re-Pookletting other people's work, so I can pull the original version, which makes some space, and of course useless ages are removed, which makes some more. (Of course, if the original version was Nouked instead of Pooklet'd, I'm screwed because I'm 'allowed' to keep the same hair in different textures...)

These are great, I have/use most of these hairs anyway so having them in pooklet's colours is very useful.

I was actually working on the sweet princess hair ages ago (I did the texture files but didn't import them, I do that a lot lol) Guess I shall continue with the neons ^_^ whenever I remember to finish them, I'm on a meshing kick again right now (adding/fixing morphs on my own and others meshes).

Thank you! The amount of work that must have gone into these is staggering. Some of my favorite meshes are here! I just downloaded everything except the Mansion & Garden hair, and that only because I don't have Mansion & Garden. And this is the first time I have regretted the fact. :-)

Mansion and Garden is a pretty sweet little mini-expansion, actually-- I love the two male hairs that come with it (David's in this post, Achilles is in my previous hair dump), and there are solar power panels that can reduce or eliminate your bills and nifty architectural doodads and LOADS of pretty plants and I am told the coding is pretty solid on it, because it's The Last Sims 2 Thing. ... Okay, enough shilling, sorry. Ahem.

I have been looking for Pooklet's newest colors across different hair styles, and haven't come up with much from various creators as yet. I realize that part of it is just the sheer amount of time involved. Well, thank you so much for all the compliments! Admittedly I'm mostly only pushing buttons on other people's textures, for the most part, but it CAN take a lot of time (that Jake Sully braid has ten textures for each age, it drove me nuts). The new colors are too lovely to pass up-- Brisance and Flash Powder and the new grays give me such a happy that I want plenty of excuses to use them. It thrills me all to pieces that other people like my toys, too.

Holy crap, these are all awesome. Thank you so much! I'm especially glad you did the SAU hair that Kale did, and the Adele hair, because I always thought the mesh on that was adorable, but she had odd textures and colors. The maxis meshes even look good!

Ahh, but I stole my Pooklet textures on the Adele hair from Cutthroat Dollie, and just pushed buttons-- but I really do like what she did with the textures, the shading is very nice in-game. And Ja deserves a buttload of credit for the Maxis meshes! I used her default replacement textures (although I think David was only recolored, those curls'd be a pain in the butt to retexture), which improve absolutely everything.

I've actually now got all my ones-and-twos finished for mesh creators, and I can start in on the larger blocks (Peggy, Rose, XM, Coolsims, Nouk) and feel like I'm making good progress instead of fmeh progress (when in fact I have posted thirty-one new hairs, which is nothing to sneeze at). But not for a while because DAMN do I need to do something besides hair.

These are great. It seems you have a knack to upload things as I need them. I wanted a few more Medieval styled male hairs (a few more long and short with parts). I also needed a curly style hair as well for men...Boy did I come to the right place for RECOLOURS!
