That awkward moment when...

The accessory technically works fine with 256x256 textures. The original textures are 256x256! The details I wanted to add looked perfectly decent from any reasonable distance... but if I need to zoom in, I can see all my pixel crimes. So despite the accessories being DONE (to the tune of 140 recolors, thankfully of two accessories so only 70 textures... "only" she says), I went back and re-made my details at 512x512, because I could actually see what in the heck I was doing.

Hopefully I will want to take in-game pictures before next mer-May, but I go where the hyperfixation takes me.

(Also I made a photoshop action to warp a slice from the side fins of the tails into the right shape/flow for the arm and back fins, and I am very proud of myself for that.

The Tuck Poulaines (henceforth dubbed Stone Soup Tunics because these are my retextures using Sherahbim, Magpie, Iamliz13, Aligeth, FantasyRogue, and my own textures, in Pooklet, CuriousB, and Aelia actions, of Simborg's edits of Meduza's edits of Cynnix's addition of FantasyRogue's poulaines to Oph3lia's cross-less morphed edit of Aligeth's Friar Tuck monk robes) are all texture-referenced with non-crunchy replaced textures! I have shots for swatches, even! Progress! But I just want to MAKE things.

Looking forward to the Friar Tuck Poulaines! I love the name by the way. Stone Soup was one of my favorite books growing up. :)

It's funny, when I made that edit years ago I was in a meshing phase and thought I dunno what use this is to anyone but me (although to be honest I still have never used it in game... one day I'll start my medieval hood, one day).

Nice to know it proved useful and can't wait for the new textures for the edit!
