Buy Mode Blitz: Whose Shrine Is It Anyway? (Sunni's Lucky Shrine)
Lo these many years ago-- egad thirteen years ago?-- I did an invisible recolor of Bon Voyage's Spiritual Shrine of Odd Blessings. I liked it, I used it, but it was SUPER basic, and honestly it wasn't the best idea-- invisible polygons still render, you just can't see them. Sunni made me the gift of a stripped-down shrine with all of the shrine bits stripped off, and I was always going to recolor it... and now I've done it. A little late but better late than never?

It's cloned from the Spiritual Shrine of Odd Blessings and therefore requires Bon Voyage. The shrine comes in 46 recolors using 23 granite, limestone, and marble recolors from Wood For Sims and various stock image and stone-and-tile selling websites; each type of rock has both a full pedestal-and-offering-bowl (look for "full") and offering-bowl-only (look for "BowlOnly") version. I have also updated the catalog description and added quarter-tile-cheat compatibility.

Hokay, how you use this thing is, you plonk it down somewhere and you turn Move Objects on. Then you take the Large Decorative Item of your choice-- a statue, a fountain, a tree, whatever-- and you put it in the pedestal area of the shrine. Some items look better with the platform visible, others with it invisible, you have options. Your Sims can throw coins as offerings to receive blessings (or curses if their offering is not well-received), ostensibly from whatever it is you put in the pedestal area.
As it has a different GUID than the original shrine, this shrine will NOT fulfill the vacation want to make an offering at the shrine, but it's still fun to shove various statuary behind the offering bowl and pretend those bees or that cash or that 'you'll ace your next chance card' results are due to whatever the statue represents. This version is only 730 polys, which isn't too bad to stack onto a statue to make a custom shrine.
And as a recoloring note? All the stone textures are the same scale, so the easiest way to recolor is to fill the whole field with your texture, use a magic wand tool or a mask or something to select around the original alpha, and cut away the excess.

Your full-recolor stone textures! Protip, when making swatches of recolors, double-check to be sure you're going in a decent order. The recolors are numbered as well as named, so there's that, but for reference's sake, the colors are called:
Granite 01: Tarn
Granite 02: Slab
Granite 03: Colourbox
Granite 04: Luxuty (yes, I know, but that's how it's spelled on the original texture and that's how I keep track)
Granite 05: Best
Granite 06: Blue Pearl
Granite 07: GL Orange
Granite 08: 85
Granite 09: RedPinkBlack
Granite 10: 34
Granite 11: Seamless
Granite 12: Salt And Pepper
Limestone 13: HR
Limestone 14: Frantic Yellow
Limestone 15: Porto Beige
Limestone 16: Smooth
Limestone 17: NW
Marble 18: WFS Black
Marble 19: WFS White
Marble 20: WFS Gray
Marble 21: WFS Cloudy
Marble 22: WFS Tan
Marble 23: WFS Red Brown

And a bowl-only swatch that goes in the same order, but I could not bring myself to move all those numbers around again.

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
