Buy Mode Blitz: Kativip LS City Table & Bench
Last one for the night, bringing the Buy Mode Blitz tag up to a nice round 50! (But it's the last one for the night, I do still have a few more things that need uploading. I need a toddler for a couple of things-- though that's clothing-- and a kid for a couple more Buy Mode Blitz items, and a cat, and to build a temporary set, and a honeymoon if I want a title card in use. But I am getting toward the end of things.)

Kativip's Legend Series City (I think it's still Legend Series by the time LS got to City) Table and Bench were texture-referenced by the inimitable Darkmoon, and "retextured" in a combination of Piggi's Wood 03, Kativip's original extracted textures from whatever game she extracted these from, and judicious use of the Motion Blur filter. Because the original textures have beautiful carving, but were otherwise... crispy.

The table is your lead mesh here, and I know these don't exactly look like they share mapping or textures... and they don't. But their textures were on different parts of an identical extracted texture map from the original game, so as I understand it, the referencing was easy.
Are these historical meshes?

With a couple of caveats, I'm actually going to say yes. Yes, these are reasonably period meshes, so long as you remember that early in the period, permanent furniture was considered very fancy, as you couldn't flatten it into boards to move it out of the way or take it on vacation with you, and that heavily carved pieces like these were always pretty gosh-darned upper class. Especially that table, look at that table, there is a LOT of excess wood involved in the making of that table.
(The table has the usual two slots, and the bench-- a sofa-- has none. Nonsense in the title card was achieved using OMSPs.)

Table swatch-- nothing fancy, just showing that it does indeed come in all of the 'why did you do ALL of them' Project Mayhem naturals, blackest blacks and whitest whites included.

And bench swatch. No, I don't really use Flash Powder or Time Bomb in my game, either, but my job is not to find their uses, my job is to make them and get them online so they can find their way to the person who's going "OMG I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THAT BUT I NEED IT."
Here you go, That Person.

In case you feel like dropping me a buck or two, should you have a buck or two to spare. I don't do pay content and I can't seem to get requests done in a timely fashion, so donors get a link to the Super Secret Cat Gallery (you help feed my cats, you get to see lots and lots of pictures of my cats) and my to-do list Google doc, in case there's anything on there that makes a donor go 'oooh, when are you working on that one?'
