Cis is the opposite of trans, from a similar Latin root-- trans meaning 'across' and cis meaning 'on this side.' Basically it's a way to say I'm a woman who doesn't have to deal with the challenges of being a trans woman (but in one convenient syllable that doesn't other trans folk). Thanks for asking-- and for your support and for sharing, especially that you're an abuse survivor. I know it takes courage to do that. Your game sounds fantastic; I'm glad it makes you happy.

I intend to keep creating! There was never a chance of me quitting (life just has it slow right now)-- I just felt like it was time to make very clear that I'm on the side of actual history and inclusive fantasy. I'm not Christian myself, but I do respect the core values. Some of the best people I've ever met have been the ones doing their conscious best to live up to those standards.
