RNR is Jaccirocker's Runner Guy; she made me a tunic when I noticed a lot of the LBB meshes had abs poking through all the layers of wool and maille and such, and it bugged the heck out of me. Bodyshapes never used to be a thing for me, either, but I worked it out and for me to play my game the way I want takes less than twenty meshes per age/sex combo, and some of those are True Nude and Nude Blockfoot Swim. Once Cynnix did the Alphadress, I was sold. I just need to get that mesh kit full up and posted (still waiting on a couple of CM meshes Cynnix has been working on).

I like the Neanderthal, too! But he needs a strong, stocky sister before I can put him in my game. (Might need a child shape on that one, as the neck is so different.) I think the reason some skinnier meshes look odd is because of the bone assignments-- the way anything broader than the Neanderthal looks weird with his muscles clipping. Pretty much I don't want to go more than two steps away from Maxis in any direction... although when I made my chart I stuck Androgyny in the middle, and I don't think going more than one step slimmer than Maxis is a good idea. (But I would like a nice waifish shape. Ballet dancer kind of thing. Not terribly skinnier than Maxis, just... narrower shoulders, leaner arms and legs, slighter hips, and on the women, smaller breasts, ideally with a different shape. With my 'must have an opposite-sex counterpart' rule, it's not like I can really use Warlokk's different cup sizes to get variation in breast shape, and Maxis and AG are pretty similar.)

But yep, WRS is just one step up from the Maxis fatmorph. Still falls prey to the 'boobs don't work that way' problem, alas-- fabric goes across, not between-- but I liked how it looked. I didn't put it in-game so I have no idea what the thighs do... but in a Medieval game, ladies' thighs are usually covered anyway.

There's always texture referencing. And I hear tell it isn't too hard to make a default into a stand-alone, so if the mesh is already out there, somebody could do that.

I didn't know that-- the meshes she used, I just took out of my game. Are they meshes Jusfels made herself? I know she has an account at GoS (she has an update thread) so she could be contacted there. And yep, nightclothes are on my list! Five difference child-through-elder outfits that'll fall in some combination of Underwear, Sleepwear, and Swimwear. (I'm thinking anything with chausses doesn't get to be nightclothes, and anything past the knee doesn't get to be swimwear. That way I can tell my categories apart when I do the 'pick new clothes' option on the Clothing Tool.)

Don't feel bad! Using the red OFB armor was my first instinct, but I spent so damn long researching things that now I know metal armor would be a really bad idea for somebody running into a fire. I mean, it makes sense-- cans explode if you heat them up too much. ... The mascots and cheerleaders are teenagers? I thought they were YAs. (Though the cheerleaders would need a heraldic surcote anyway, so they look different from the mascots.) The Store maille would be awesome for cops, since male and female use the same textures. There's plenty of room on the back for heraldry, too. As for career outfits, there are actually a couple of ways to default those. Personally I just use a Wear Casual To Work hack, but I keep thinking I might integrate something into my default replacement careers-- they call to outfit GUIDs for the different career levels, so I can't think why replacing the GUID with the GUID of a custom outfit wouldn't work. It'd leave me free to have uniforms where I want 'em and change the GUID-thingy to the same as not wearing anything to work for where I don't want 'em.

Also, I can't draw heraldry, but there's a lot of good heraldic clip art out there. That's how I've made my stuff.
