Congrats on becoming an Aunt!!! It's the bees knees, I have 14 and 2 greats; 1 of each.
As far as the bodyshape a rounder one is the Well-Rounded sim by Dr. Pixel. It became my favorite and , so it became a mission to get everything going...as a matter of fact that's how I learned to make my very first mesh, skintone etc. I'd always been too wary of meshing and the complicated SimPe...Oh noooo, not for me.
(and the a link to the skintone tut that I used, it really only takes minutes, but the link is apparently dead, I know that I'll need a quick refresher.)
I did do something for GoS advent, the same one as the Runner.
I also did a more petite shape based of Marvine Bouncy Dancer tester. That and Sussi got a shitload of meshes all together over a hundred I believe. I think that she'd be a good match for the runner, as she has a slightly more athletic build than EA default, but no where near as buff as the Athletic girl. As a matter of fact I do believe I have some skintones with the 2 MBD and Runner linked. I just hope I haven't lost them along with about 80% of all my simming stuff.
I had also finished some requested meshes for a refreshing of the Athletic Guy, the very first shape Marvine made. Vanity deMise and I teamed up after the Runner shape. He's along the line of the Neanderthal but to me the shoulders and neck are more of my presence, I don't have any pictures of that one, because it's sort of on hold (2 years ago) But I do have the skintone linked I think to the WRS.
The AG/RnR combo can be done in a few moments, I have to get the bottom and top meshes for both. I know Vanity did use the Marvine feet for her AG. I like those for the reason that they are lower poly, however the mapping to totally different for the feet than either sexy feet or EAxis feet. I used the on the Runner meshes if that helps jog your memory.
I haven't seen the Burly guy, I do recall the Bear BB by Montoto, but the meshes aren't easy to find anymore.
------------------- Had to stop for a phone interviw, and I now I lost my train of thought. But I did get the job !!! Yay me.
I think that I've rattled on way too long, but I've been holding in all of Simming talk, no one in the RL gets it...
I did stumble across a folder that says Me and Hat"s Massive Medieval project, a few days ago. Do you still play style. I have had much chance to play TS2 because it makes me want to make meshes so badly. But my Sims 3 keeps crashing and now it won't start. I said screw it and came back to the light side, but then I needed to get some new stuff, and now 6 days later I am still downloading. Haha
Well I'm going to eat some dinner, and I'll keep searching for that tutorial.
