That totally won't hurt-- you can duplicate Sims in your Sim bin to run around loose as many times as you please. Also, it's totally one of the things I'm planning to do, possibly in my Downtown, because I like their faces too much to not use them (also it's what I did to make my sadly-absent photoshoot happen).
