The Medieval period lasted from officially the fall of Rome (which has no officially agreed-upon date, so most folk say) to the beginning of the Renaissance-- in practice, that's about a thousand years. There's SERIOUSLY a lot of wiggle-room, although at least in clothing there are distinct differences between eras and regions... but I'm happy as long as there are no bodices, the lacings that show are spiral, not cris-crossed, and nobody's obviously wearing underwear as outerwear.

I hadn't even thought about doing the original Jeanette-- I could, if you want it, but I refuse to promise when I'll be finished with my list. (Although I wouldn't have any problem if somebody beat me to it. Since the version for men is done, it'd be a pretty simple copy/paste job.) Generally, I prefer longer hairs that look like they've never been cut for my womenfolk (or shorter hairs for monastic, once-monastic, or Fa Mulan Jeanne d'Arc Sweet Polly Oliver types), so I tend to gloss right over the mid-length female hairs for some reason. Which is silly of me, since women who cut their hair are liable to have growing-out phases.
