Yeah I prefer texture defaults for hair... when it comes to clothes maxis often takes something nice and then ruins it with crap shoes or something so mesh replacements are good for that. Most hair is just so poly heavy compared to maxis that using it for defaults seems to be asking for trouble to me lol. I have all of Ja's hair texture defaults lol.
