Also, fffffff I don't know. Um. If I were you, I'd look for simple wooden frames, nothing too ornamental. I honestly don't know how Medieval paintings were framed (in part because they were usually painted on wooden planks, not canvas), but I know there are a lot of baroque frames out there that are just too over-the-top for most Medieval artwork. Really, nothing seems to feel right but simple mitered wood or maybe thin gold gilding, for all I know they were master carvers.
