The hair that was giving the Wrangler fits probably had textures on non-power-of-two dimensions-- there are some Rose accessories that have that problem, and I couldn't turn them into BV jewelry until I corrected the texture size. (Also, hairs that aren't on the 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 pattern tend to not work at all on Macs, so I hear.) I admit I use SimPE for everything except jewelryfication, because THAT is incredibly tedious with SimPE and well worth having the Wardrobe Wrangler on hand. Although it's totally worth it to import the hair you want to recolor, remove the property sets and textures for useless ages, and then do your recolor from your edited copy. No more deleting the wrong age by accident with the color binning tool!

I have a buttload of skintones, but the only eyes I use are the Maritime Eyes by Panaqoulus. I've done a few recolors for myself, because apparently I can't function without good red and yellow eyes in my game, but I love the sclera. It's the best one I've seen, not totally flat white, but no giant black blobs, either. ... I'm really, really picky about eyes.

Noses are awesome, I just have this problem where I like the awesome, interesting noses on guys more than women. I need to work on my character actress faces.

Mm, and my testerhood is for pictures, making sure mods work, checking my defaults, checking other people's defaults, and generally making sure everything looks the way I want it to look. ... And works properly. Working properly is important.
